Masonry U

MASONRY U - ON-DEMAND MASONRY TRAINING

'Masonry U', a series of on-demand masonry courses is FREE and available to architects and engineers for continuing education credits (LU/HSW) through November 19, 2020..  ​CILB course approval is currently pending.  The Masonry Association of Florida/Masonry Education Foundation  is a registered provider with the America Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA Provider # G524), the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB Provider# 4545) and the Florida Board of Professional Engineers (FBPE Provider #4507).  Credit earned upon completion of this program will be reported to CES records for AIA Members, engineers, building officials, contractors, etc.  Please be sure to provide your license number when you register.  Certificate of Successful Completion available for non-AIA members available upon request.​

The importance of using proper insulation, coupling with masonry’s relevance to sustainability and resiliency, this presentation explores effective solutions for the ever-changing design environment. Likewise, this course reviews insulation mass wall assembly requirements and compliances regarding the 2016 IECC and Florida Building Code.
